The Cleveland Indians sign Jack Hannahan
The Indians have signed 30-year old lefty swinging 3B/1B Jack Hannahan to a minor league deal. Hannahan played in 96 games in AAA-ball last season and he was 79 of 334 (.237 avg, .714 OPS) with 47 runs scored, 9 homers, 45 RBIs and 3 stolen bases. He last played in the majos in 2009 with the Mariners & A’s. Hannahan has played in 290 games in his first four years in the majors and he is 192 of 856 (.224 avg, .658 OPS) with 91 runs scored, 16 homers, 90 RBIs and 4 stolen bases. Hannahan will get a shot to make the Indians next spring.
