The Cleveland Indians have signed 29-year old righty swinging 1B/3B Mark Reynolds to a 1-year, $6 million dollar deal with another possible $1.5 million bucks in incentives.  Reynolds played in 135 games for the Orioles last year and he was 101 of 457 (.221 avg, .763 OPS) with 65 runs scored, 23 homers, 69 RBIs and 1 stolen base.  He has now played in 853 games in his first six years in the majors and he was 699 of 2,973 (.235 avg, .807 OPS) with 475 runs scored, 181 homers, 501 RBIs and 49 stolen bases.  Reynolds is a streak type of hitter with huge power.  But, he is a big time hacker as he has whiffed an amazing 1,122 times already in his career!  I think you can pencil Reynolds in for 30+ homers and around 200 whiffs in 2013 for the Cleveland Indians, as long as he can stay healthy.
